Sarah Salter

Sarah H. Salter is a professor of pedagogy in the Emory Writing Program and serves as senior editor of American Periodicals. Her teaching and research center US-based mass media, focusing on representations of community access, linguistic diversity, and sexual expression as those are recorded–and contested in real time–through the pages of historical newspapers.
